I would like to highlight the case of Brendan Dixon.

On Tuesday March 1st 2005, at Kilmarnock High Court, Brendan Dixon and Patrick Docherty were both found guilty of the murder of Margaret Irvine.

Both men were given life sentences for a crime that the evidence shows they did not commit.

Colin Miller .

There was no physical evidence in this case. It was based on hearsay and circumstancial evidence.

Police recovered DNA And Footprints from the murder scene which do not belong to any of the accused.

A number of key witnesses, who are no strangers to police, had themselves been questioned about the murder. Several of these witnesses where proven in court to have lied against Brendan

It is important that ALL the evidence is now heard, not just for the sake of Brendan, but also for the sake of Mrs Margaret Irvine, who most certainly did not deserve to be killed.

Thank you.

It is hoped that the appeal will be this year, by that time they will have taken 5 years from Brendan's life and let a killer roam free to continue commiting criminal acts.

From the appeal court, on disclosure of evidence.

Thank you.

As it it still at appeal stage all information that has been gathered cant be told but when it can i am sure it will make interesting reading for anyone asking how the Crown and Police can and do often go down the wrong line of inquiry and how Hearsay evidence sometimes is all the crown have in the case.

Hearsay evidence that can be proven wrong when the appeal comes around.

In the name of truth and justice, and whats fair i would like to highlight a petition asking that them in power in this land admit the mistake of handing down conviction and sentencing in the case of Brendan Dixon and Patrick Docherty and reveal everything that still is refused in the case.

http://www.gopetition.com/petitions/justice-4-brendan-dixon.html

Justice was not served on March the 1st 2005 at Kilmarnock high court and all should be ashamed that it continues in their name.

Their is a killer walking about that has got away with murder and will with Strathclyde Police help, commit other crimes maybe not a serious crime like murder but as court pages prove have commited further crimes and still laught in the face of justice.

How many innocent prisoners do the state want to use as scapegoats?

I thought Scotland was a just and fair country seems not..

Hi Justice 4 Brendon just to let you know that I too have voted yes on your petition, good luck and hope that you get the result that you want.

I have also been on the link you supplied re Paul Blackburn and find it horrendous that after all these years the man is still unable to lead a 'normal' life. It just goes to show that even though aquitted you are far from cleared from the stigma attached.
