Hello scotkaz,

First of all, welcome to the site.

I have looked at the page regarding the case you mentioned and only wish I could say I was surprised by what it reveals. Sadly these instances are no rarer now as they were in the 1980's despite the advances in science. I particularly note how this case highlights how and who by witnesses are discretely encouraged to believe what they don't or have no reason to prior to the investigation.

It also highlights just how important having the right legal defence team is which is why I am appealing for solicitors to come forward to the site. If like me you have had no need for one in the past you will have absolutely no idea where to look to find one or which one is the best. Luckily I did, sadly other are not so.

I wish you well with your campaign and hope that through finding this site you get the support you need for both this campaign and the others on the site listed on your profile, excellent song choice by the way, Billy Joel's innocent man, I thought of it often when I was on remand.

Hi, unfortunately I was unable to log onto your web address for some reason but did manage to read an article on the case. It seems strange to me that the flaws came from the defence team rather than the prosecution-wouldn't they have wanted to win their case? You've had a long battle with this injustice and obviously still feel very strongly about it all these years on-I do hope your campaigning is a success and that your life is now improving some.

Hello,

Just read through this thread and looked at the web site.

It is amazing. I cannot believe the patience and determination of fighting to clear your name for 21yrs !

I dont know if I would have the strength to keep on this long, I would have to walk away from it to preserve my own sanity, but then I am not in your position. Perhaps if my case goes belly up then I will feel the same and would also fight to clear my name.
