At the time of writing, three prominent parliamentary figures were in hot water with the press due to their positions with regard to the Justice system. Jack Straw publicly apologised to the parents of two murdered French students when it was revealed that previously reported flaws within the justice system had contributed to the ability of the culprit's to commit the crime.

Meanwhile north of the border, Alex Salmond was left vigorously defending himself amidst claims that he had deliberately mislead parliament when providing figures regarding the number of absconded prisoners in Scotland. These figures become all the more important when considered along with the case of Kevin Mcleod which has seen Kenny MacAskill (Cabinet Secretary for Justice) refuse to disclose important information about a possible suspect while denying any knowledge of the case. A case which he himself has answered related question on in parliament, quite how you can answer a question relating to something you know nothing about is beyond me.
Alex Salmond accused of misleading Holyrood over escaped prisoner
Alex Salmond owes the Scottish Parliament an apology whether he misled it or not

Please sign the following petition to have parliament hold accountable those who are in breach of their code of conduct by forcing them to resign from their current positions of responsibility.

Might I also suggest that if we took all the wrongly accused/convicted people out of prison, there would be more room within them for those who truly should be there.

Good evening Billy. I wonder if I could make a suggestion as regards your latest petition(Holding ministers of parliament to account) I wonder if it could somehow be made more prominent on the sites Home Page. The general public should be made aware by any means possible of the goings on. Keep up the good work, but as Black suggests, get some rest sometime.

Good evening My-Lord,
Another good suggestion, I will endeavour to expediently facilitate your most gracious request. I am at a loss though as to why you are so keen to have who are effectively your bosses in such a prominently insecure position....
Could it be that you haven't received a pay rise this year due to the economic downturn?
On a more serious note, I hadn't anticipated just how quickly the site would grow and how soon the content which is now on it would be required. I do think as a result that there is simply a little too much crammed into the original format and am spending some time working on a more streamlined and user friendly main site as and when I get a chance.
I can reasonably quickly add a suitable page to include details of what we are doing to try and bring about the much needed changes which can transform the justice system into what people believe it to be rather than what it is. Within it would be an appropriate place for your suggestion I think. In the meantime I will continue to work on what will be a massive transformation to the site's appearance while ensuring more information can be included as and when required without it becoming too crammed. There simply is so much that really needs to be here and can't be left out to reduce space.

Hmmm, My-Lord,
I sense some cheeky shenanigans!
Could it be that your secretary being 'off sick' has come about by the discovery of her salary or taxi receipts to M&S?

With regard to my secretary, I am sorry to inform you that I had to let the little Darling go........She was unable to fill out her Tax Returns, and unfortunately no member of her family was in a position to assist!!!!!!

It has occurred to me this morning after reading through some posts on the forum that these last few have while light hearted and largely off topic demonstrated a very important point.
When certain members first started posting on the forum, each message was largely serious and solemn, however over the last few weeks these members have posted with a more up-beat air which clearly shows that simply through joining the forum and participating the site has provided a much needed moral boost. I have found this very heartening personally and am glad that despite the negative reasons for coming here they can at least find something positive from doing so even if the site isn't more closely involved with them personally.
As a final folly with My-Lord on the previous matter, might I suggest that I think there could be a suitable replacement for your secretary available soon, Mr Brown will undoubtedly be seeking other employment in the relatively near future and has previous experience in tax related matters.
