Simon’s wife was interviewed this morning by the Ipswich Community Radio station who have very kindly sent us a recording. I think everyone will agree that for someone who has no prior experience with the media she has done very well. Having said that Stephanie is concerned that a comment about re-mortgaging houses may be taken out of context and wishes to stress that this was in no way a criticism of any individual. It is simply recognition that without prior knowledge of how easily someone can be wrongly convicted there will always be other things that people would consider in retrospect and that for example if re-mortgaging a house was what it would take to prove innocence, it would have been done.

P.S. Thanks to Jane for reminding everyone about the flyers.

Good evening Billy. I have just been listening to the Stephanie Hall Interview and didn't she do well. I, for one, am very grateful to the Ipswich Community Radio Station for sending you a recording of the interview and to you for setting up the link to enable the users of your site to hear it. The wonders of modern technology....Just one click and it is brought to the attention of a wider audience. The flyers are very easy to print off too. Mine is in the post and on its way.

Thanks for that My Lord, I know that having no pc makes it difficult for her to remain completely up to date with everything online so I will pass on your best wishes the next time she calls.

Dear Stephanie. We have been listening to your interview with Ipswich Radio and we think you have done really really well. We are hoping that Friday goes well for you and you get plenty of support. We will be thinking about you. Our flyers are in the post. Keep strong, you are doing a wonderful job. Although you don't have access to a PC I am sure Billy will pass on our best wishes to you.

Firstly, I did pass on your message to Stephanie earlier as you know but also others from the forum.

With the campaign in the spotlight due to the protest on Friday, it has been featured in the Guardian's 'Justice on Trial' Series today. In the absence of technology that most of us take for granted Stephanie has managed to get her message out regardless.

This topic now forms part of a series we will be running on the cases featured in Sandra Leans book 'No Smoke'.

Issues highlighted by Sandra in her book form common factors in most miscarriage of justice cases and hence areas which need to be addressed. Once details of each have been discussed we will create a topic focusing on these 12 key points allowing forum members to contribute suggestions on how best to resolve what are frequent contributing factors in wrongful convictions.

Hi Billy

I look forward to the forthcoming topics. I am a very slow reader though and as yet still haven't yet finished Sandra's book (Embarrassing admission I realsie) I do still hope to follow the discussions in the meantime but will try and get the the book finished non-the less.

Don't suppose you intend adding a spell chequer to the forum do you?

Billy I have read Sandra's book and find myself returning to it time and time again because it contains so many cases of injustice it beggars belief. I too am looking forward to the forthcoming topics. By the way Billy I love this new forum  editor.

Now you see me. now you dont't

Keep up the good work.

I got a Collins dictionary if you want a shot Jane.

But seriously it would be handy Billy. Next time you got a few mins........

Don't worry Jane, the discussions here will need to be in phases I expect and must be done in such a way as to be understandable to people who don't have a copy of Sandra's book anyway.

RE: the speck checker, I think you've adequately demonstrated it's need yes lol ( I assume chequer was deliberate )
